Hey Everyone!
What you call 'naples' yellow is not THE naples yellow. You're buying a mix of titanium white, burnt sienna, and permanent yellow. Even the tubes labeled as toxic usually only substitute flake white for the titanium. To find true naples yellow is difficult, but well worth the effort and price. Another problem with this fake naples yellow is that you really shouldn't use titanium white when painting flesh- it destroys the subtlety and power of colors and makes them chalkey looking.
