: James Morton suggested using non-drying cooking oil...??? All I have is Olive oil, is that ok to keep the brushes in...and how about mineral oil?<<<
Oil is not a cleaner. Non-drying cooking oil gets under the ferrules and loosens
the adhesive causing the bristles to shed.
I am surprised that no one has suggested hair conditioner, skin moisturizer
or Crisco.
