Either Cobalt Dryer or Japan Dryer added to your painting medium and mixed with your paint will accelerate drying. It's generally accepted that added in small amounts these dryers will not adversely affect the longevity of your artwork, however, if longevity is not a concern, add as much as you need to accomplish your objective. I've used fairly large amounts of Japan Dryer on illustrations without any noticable problems.
