Verdigris
I was recently reading a book on maxfield parrish, and for personal entertainment have been trying to master his technique...It mentioned that one of his favorite colors to use in glazing was vertigris. Well, I'm pretty sure that nobody makes it anymore (possibly winsor & newton-I'll never know because they're stupid color chart gives my computer indigestion. Does Anybody know what colors that are currently manufactured could be mixed to produce something similar? Also, does anybody know any other colors he used frequently (rose madder, indian yellow and cobalt I am aware of...) Well, if you can help, please do....thanks..
