Alexei's thin coat of oil mixes with the retouch varnish painted *into* it, or do you think he waits for the oil to dry before painting into it? Obviously his technique has gone right over your flat head, something that happens to you with dreary regularity.

You don't know about any of this, do you? You consult a reference, parrot some parts of it then go blithely on to contradict yourself at every turn.

First you say meglip is maroger with the addition of stand oil; now you claim it's something else (created by some poor Scot) and castigate anyone who questions you. Ha!
