Sorry; I need a bit more advice. I’ve tried a 50/50, 20/80,80/20 mix with Bees Wax/Damar and I cant’ get it to lie evenly. It dries really quickly. I even used a hair dryer to keep things liquid but to no use. What varnish are you using? What are the proportions?………Thanks in anticipation, Les Re: Getting that 150 year old look! Stump
