: what is the best way to keep your oil brushes clean?
: should i leave the brushes in water for a while? in some other liquid?
: please help
Joe
I've tried the special soap for oil brushes as well, and it is pretty good! I have found one thing that works wonders for me, though! I know some experts say never mix oil and water...however....Using Murphys Oil Soap with a little water really works great to clean and condition oil brushes! I even use it when I am working on a painting. I just need to make sure it is squeezed out completely. This has rejuvinated brushes that I forgot to clean, and the paint dried (guilty at times) and made a few come back that looked like they were plugged into a light socket!
