Re: Linseed Oil
: I paint with oil paints, and recently bought some linseed oil. One of my friends, who also paints, said that she just uses canola oil or vegetable oil. If anybody knows whether it makes a difference, please reply, because linseed oil is kind of expensive, and it would be a lot easier to use canola oil.If you paint as a hobby and aren't concerned about the durability of your paintings, vegetable oil (safflower or corn) can be used.
