: : Has any one heard any news on the windberg art panel and if it's manufacture will be taken over by another company? If not, has any one used the gesso clayboard by ampersand and is it any good? Thanks for any response.

: I have Windberg' book titled *Windberg: Oil Painting Techniques* where he gives exact instructions for making your own "Windberg" panel. This morning I posted a rather long post on the Cennini Forum which gives the exact directions for making a panel (not expensive at all).

Thanks Sonia! I visit the Cennini Forum and I'll check it out. The grade of the marble dust has to be the key. Those are great panels for detail work.
