Just starting into oil painting.
I am just starting oil painting and I am quickly discovering it is an incredible medium, I have a silly very amateur question to ask but after you apply a base coat is it best to wait a bit before you dive into the main painting or not? And what is possibly the best thinning solvent? I would appreciate any ones comments or tips as well!
