Beginner Painter
Thanks Rob, I will try that. Another mystery I am finding in reading the how to paint book is the business of painting the wrong color first, then going over it with the right color. I have read several books where the author promotes this. One author, for example wanted to paint a red rooster. After doing the base coat, he painted the rooster a light green, then went over it in red. I believe the object is to first do a complementary color, then the desired color. I guess the complementary color provides a better background for the desired color? This presents a real challenge because one must now pick the proper underlay color.
