While a picture can paint a thousand words, the words used to denote that picture can become jumbled and misonstrued. The longer we think about what we want to say, the more our initial can be degraded, and hence the feeling. The less we verbally ponder upon a work, whether it be on canvas, music sheet, stage, ot otherwise, the more we can be instinctually attached to it, no matter how learned the critic may be. The meaning is between the artist and the patron. Angel
