: hello - how can i give my painting an aged or weathered look? is this best done with some type of technique of layering oil paints over acrylics? coating the painting with tea? don't even suggest that my dog should pee on it. are gel mediums and molding pastes the way to go? thanks!

>>> ever give a thought to burying your painting in soil? i suppose if you could only exposed the painted surface, and leave the wood support alone... it would have a cool effect. i think they often bury ceramics to give the aged look.
