1art.com Teaching Zone!

With the one time membership fee of $19.95 you will receive a password that you can start using immediately. You may use it as often as you like.

painting  This TEACHING ZONE has been created specifically for those who areuncertain whether they should buy the Video Workshop but are interested in learning more about the classical painting technique. As I said elsewhere in my site, my main goal is to share my knowledge with as many people as possible; and the membership fee is so low that using the Teaching Zone will be affordable to practically everyone interested in the Old Masters' oil painting technique. The Teaching Zone was created on the basis of the my Video Workshop and takes the form of an Internet book with appropriate interactive multimedia technology.

painting   VIDEO CLIPS: Obviously, the electronic book (HTML) format lacks the dynamism of the two-hour video. However, to compensate the lack of movement, in addition to hundreds of full screenshots and text, I created small video clips featuring essential operations that are impossible to describe in words, but are of critical importance for understanding the Old Masters' method.

painting  IMAGES: Images are made from the original tapes (hours of footage) and classified in the Table of Contents for quick reference.

painting  TEXT: The full text of the video narrative has been supplemented with comments required by the Internet book format. For your convenience the text is availa ble in four formats:
1.Page by Page (frame version): Start by default 651 pages Opening by chapters by "Back" "Next" buttons by page numbers Large images (up to 450 dpi horizontally)
2.Open by Chapters (frame version): Opens large sections, small images (200 dpi horizontally) Convenient format for uninterrupted viewing, however take some time to open images
3.Open by Chapters (no frame version): for older browsers
4.Text Only (frame version): for old computer systems.

painting Finally, subscribing to the Teaching Zone, you don't lose a penny: if you eventually decide to buy the Video Workshop, you will have a discount of the price of the Teaching Zone membership. If you buy the Video Workshop, you receive a free password for the Teaching Zone. Those who have already bought the Video Workshop can request their free password now.

If you prefer not to transact business over the Internet, then use this form to send a $19.95 check or money order.
