by Rodney Need help deciding on Canon 70-200 f/4 L or Canon 70-300 f/4-5.6 IS I need help deciding on Canon 70-200 f/4 L or Canon 70-300 f/4-5.6 IS lens. I seem to be stuck on deciding on one of the two. I take mainly landscape and waterfall pictures. I do want to do more wildlife photography so the IS would be nice when a tripod would not be an option. However, I take 90% of my pictures with a tripod. I am leaning toward the 70-200 because I would like the best possible picture. I do shoot slide film and have read that the 70-300 is disappointing when shooting slides. If money was not object I would get the 100-400 IS, but my other half would throw me out if the house:) Any options and experience with either of these lenses would be great. Thank you |
