About 10 yrs ago I used Liquin as an additive to mycolors but quickly discarded it because of the drag. Did not like the way it felt. About 2 years ago started lubricating my dry canvas, with or without oil paint on it, by rubbing a thin film of Liquin. Then I was able to apply smooth strokes that usually dried by the next day. I did not add Liquin to my colors. Liquin helps subsequent layers of oil paint to dry quickly.
