Ilia, I'm the wrong one to ask because I have always made a point of never charging for lessons. Knowing my fondness for them, my students occasionally bring me cookies and flowers.

Perhaps you could come up with a symbolic payment that would mae your client feel as though she is not the object of charity. Of course we both know that the best payment is to see ones students grow.
