Start big! Don't get a tiny canvas, when i started seriously painting about a year ago the small canvas' would become tedious, i found using a big brush and a somewhat large canvas was good-and not thinking anything was too difficult.I got my supplies from school too (since it can cost a lot) but now i bought my own supplies and find it a lot more convienient.DAVID
