: Does anyone out there know how to go about painting smoke?
I have always used blue gray mixture according to the background. If your talking about from a small fire
source go light with the brush and light with the
shade to start, then gradually intermix blue gray varing shading throughout the column of smoke. Keep in mind what's burning, what color does it produce when it burns.
