hi i have my pup curled over my left arm i.e. no capital letters. yes, i agree with you that everything you read i read too. i did read recently that too much turp causes colors to dry dead as well as dark colors. anyway, use less turp and the article said put a thin coat of liquin over the whole painting......but, i myself don't know.anyone out there ever use liquin for a final glaze to add lustre
