When one mixes a color (Vermilion) with white and obtains the same color only more pale, I think it can be said that the color mixes well with white.
When one mixes a color (Cadmium) with white and obtains an ugly greyish color, I think it can be said that the color mixes poorly with white.
To each his/her own, though.
Is Benzimidazolone Orange lightfast in tints?
