That's not a defendable statement at all. Any medium can produce great art, if approached by a great artist. Think of all the time, centuries ago, that Watercolors were thought of as inferior, useful only for sketches. Not true anymore, but they are the same paints now as then. If a modern genius started creating masterpieces using Genesis paints, or easter egg dyes, or crap on a stick, then you can be sure that within a few years it would be accepted by everyone as a "legitimate" medium.

Now, are you trying to say that this stuff is difficult to paint with? That it doesn't have good lightfastness? That the colors are inconsistant or weak? Fine, say so.
