threads/lint/dust/dirt?

I often find that I get little threads or dust in the paint on my canvas. They are annoying, ugly and impossible-to-remove without taking off several layers of paint. This usually happens while painting my 4th or 5th layer...sometimes even before, and especially when I am using a fan brush. I use W+N Cirrus kalinsky fan brushes, or sometimes their Sceptre Gold sable/synthetic blend. I paint with high quality oils and usually use a home-brewed maroger medium, but it happens with every medium that I've used. Does anyone else have this problem or, better yet, a solution?
