Ok, well there is a problem then:
Oils tend to be the most dramatic when you use there unique ability to "layer." If you don't comprehend what I am saying, look at a cezanne, picasso, van gogh, etc... look at how they "build" or "mold" form by layering, discretely or directly by layering paint, and only paint.
This layering in the face and the human figure best works when one is able to discern the most intense colors and values from the duller, and he/she builds upon these concepts...
I by no means am edorsing anyone paint in oils who is comfy with acrylics... we're more animalistic (and we certainly aren't afraid of bashing your work.)
