problems with oil

I love painting with oils but was forced to switch to acrylic because the paint began to peel off the canvas after a year. I lost five paintings this way. I am wondering if there was something wrong with my technique. I used artist turpentine as the medium with blobs of linseed oil on the paints on the palette. And I used thin turpentine to wash the brushes.

Can someone please advise?
