I have been using Winsor Newton's LIQUIN oil color medium. It has a wonderful viscosity....but I find that it BROWNS down whites and doesn't make me feel too secure about it's longterm effects on my paintings. I was told that if I cut it with Stand Oil and Galkyd (more stable ingredients) that any of those possible dissasters from straight LIQUIN will be avoided. Does this sound accurate?
I like a thickish texture to my medium...what else is there that will also dry relatively quickly?
Thanks for any suggestions,
Tim
