you with great amounts of satisfaction in your paintings. The guide is
this...warm light=cool shadows - cool light=warm shadows. For instance,
a warm lighted subject (using white, naples yellow, and cadmium red for
flesh tones) will have to be shadowed with raw umber and prussian blue.
Study your colors and make a list of ALL mixes that are cool and those
that are warm. Use the guideline and have fun learning. |
