working very large Id say use the brick moulding. Ask for it by name.
You will need a mitre box, saw, clamp, drill, 3 1/2" screws, a staple
gun, actually it might take a person 4 hours to prepare a canvas and by
that time who can stay emotional! If you arent handy with the wood working
you may get angry even before you paint! Its tough but if you want I can
spell it out for you. Just notify via this forum KAY? Ill check back.... : Well my problem is stretching the canvas. Can I buy framing material at a lumber yard or do I have to buy stretchers from an art supply? I can't find any large prestreched frames. I would like my painting to be very large, let's say 5' by 7', for instance. : Any other suggestion would be helpful. thanks , jpearl |
