| 1066 by Joyce on 10/24/01 at 12:28 PM angry painting I want to start expressing my emotions thru oil painting. I have purchased
my supplies....oil paints, pallette knives, canvas, gesso for priming
and turpentine. Well my problem is stretching the canvas. Can I buy framing material at a lumber yard or do I have to buy stretchers from an art supply? I can't find any large prestreched frames. I would like my painting to be very large, let's say 5' by 7', for instance. Any other suggestion would be helpful. thanks , jpearl |
