Hello.
I learned a pretty neat trick in an art school in Philly. It's similar to the previous idea except you don't get a reverse image.

You still need acrylic gel. I like Utrecht.
First, brush the acrylic gel a bit thickly on the area of the canvas/paper where you want the image to be. Second coat the photocopy or magazine page on both sides thickly with acrylic gel medium. Third, place the image on the paper/canvas in the position you want and lastly, get a window washer squeegie and starting at the middle of the image press the squeegie tool a bit to remove the excess gel. The gel will adhere the photocopy or photo to the paper/canvas.
The gel combined with squeegie action will eliminate the seams between the paper/canvas and the photocopy image.
