I already have a stand (tripod) to hold my canvas. I need to know witch brushes, articles, etc to buy. : Yegi DO NOT BUY JUNK BUY A FEW GOOD SUPPLIES and build from there. buy natural bristels flats and filberts are the easiest to use. a #2,6,8 are good to start with(white china) good for starters. buy yourself one red sable or mongoose brush a4 or 6is good take care of this brush its expensive it must be cleaned after ever use and conditioned atleast once a week. {see katy same page} don't buy a kit! small tybe of a red, yellow, blue, raw umbre, black, and a medium tube of white try zinc white its a little easier to use at first. now paint mix colors to get the colors you don't have. try a little black with your yellow see what happens. cad hues are inexpensive and give good coverage for beginers. try gesso panels instead of canvas at first its easier you don't have as many things to worry about.
