Creating Art from Old Shell Casings

I have come across several hunderd used rifle shell casings and i was wondering if there is any info that any one can give me about how i can turn those old shell casings into art. It doesnt matter to me, it could be sculptures or other creative ideas.
Please provide me with webpages that i can visit, or books that i can get so that i can see how i can turn this bunch of old shell casings into magnificent art.
