Greetings Art World, This is Jerry & Linda Stith founders of Ball Point Pen Art here on the Web. We would like to add further information in reguards to our New Art programs.
Ball Point Pen Art, Ballpoint Pen Art or Ballpointpenart is all the same program. It's made up of all ballpoint pen artists from 1938 through out today. The ballpoint pen sells billions of pens annually and is the most used writing or drawing instrument or tool in history. Therefore taking in countless millions of artists through out time.
Ballpoint Pen art is a New Art Medium and is being presented to the art world as such. We came to the Web about three years ago and bought the domain names and started several groups for the artists that use this great art instrument.
We built a network of sites to demonstrate what the ballpoint pen can do. The extra-fine ballpoint pen tip can produce the most detailed line in art history or a half tone. This half tone is camera ready and now comes in multi-colors and is made with an oil-based ink. We display this new art line and the colors it now has.
We have displayed pictures in gold, yellow, orange, pink and other new colors never seen before here on the Web. These new colors or art lines are new and help advance the Ball Point Pen Art Movement and the Pen & Ink Art Movement.
We now have about 700 artworks published and a must to see if the Pen is your art medium. It's new and exciting for those in this line of art. We have 14 different artists works displayed and that represents more ballpoint pen artists in one place seen ever in art history.
Ball Point Pen Art is a New Art Medium and needs to be presented to the art world and is our job in doing so. I, Jerry am self-taught and born in the United States of America and therefore an American Folk artist. Being the first artist to present this new art form makes Ball Point Pen Art a New American Folk Art.
We are presenting this New American Folk Art as part of a New Art Medium or Art Movement. Our sites are the largest Ball Point Pen Art sites here on the Web and also are the biggest Pen & Ink sites as well. You might stop in and check out the artworks and what the programs are all about in more detail.
Our groups are inter-active and people can join and post their thoughts and works. You will be making art history in doing so and should present your best.
