Is art really art? I ask you.... Is the way in which an artist learns expresses and creates a piece of art with such passion and refinement slowly fading into the background and mist that remains after a today contemporary art storm? Is the prase so perfectly proportioned and indecisively refined to abnormality stepping backwards as the parade of hook hangers and Vaseline flooring take over? Yet to me the art of today, so boldly yelling out, expression and difference does not reflect that same passionate brain straining effort to strive and pin point what the artist was feeling.
As you can see I do not feel that the art of today is really art. It’s simply just a few strokes of expensive paint slapped on a canvas board with minimal effort and little thought. Except for what sort of money value the art may hold! It’s just not right.
And I know that all you artists out there may not be able to sculpture like Michelangelo or paint like the great Dali. But do you really think that hanging yourself off the side of a building with hooks is the smartest thing to do, let alone a form of art!
Feel free to e-mail on whatever your opinion is.... As long as you’re polite! As I am very willing to here what you have to say! Thank you!
