help me with charcoal portrait technics?


hi i am new to this place .i have problem with charcoal portrait and pencil portrait.i cannot bring the correct drawing i think.i draw my portrait in normal paper.can u all there help teaching me a some technics.for drawing a portrait .and also help me with shading technics i am weak i that area.....
