Hey Steve (and anyone else who's listening...) I just received, ground and did a test panel with vermilion from Kremer. It's quite amazingly nice, nice enough that now I'm hell-bent on getting other brands of PURE vermilion. I'll try Doaks if I can ever reach him after business hours!!!

100g with special aged oil from RH and some balsam and some copal gave me about 35mL of tubed paint...but it is heavy enough to dent the hood of a car!!!
