Actually, I just realized that technically, my non-representational art is not abstract art at all. Abstraction is based on reality in some manner.
So, a proper abstract painting would abstractly "say something." It would be symbolic, and thus, representational.
I wonder what I should call my work?
I suppose, however, that technically, all artwork is representational to some degree since it is the work of human beings.
I got a D in my college aesthetics course. Does it show?
