I have admired many art styles though I am not very knowledgable of them. One that has haunted me for many years and I remember from my youth in the 60s (in fact, the style was used as rudimentary lesson for children to learn color wheel shadings) involved stark black barren tree silhouettes (I believe were also stylised in a round shape) against color shadings. I would love to know more about the style and the artist who developed it (and whether prints of this kind of work are available). I do believe it was a somewhat popular display in the late 60s and early 70s. Thanks to all who may be able to provide some insight.
